Sorry to post back to back, but I wanted to post
the full details for the Oxford UP annual sale:

Wednesday, June 11, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, back warehouse, cash only, paperback $2, hardcovers $4, exact change or small bills appreciated.

If you're coming with a vehicle, you can park at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre on Garamond Court (off Wynford). Oxford UP is at 70 Wynford Drive, one street north of Eglinton between Don Mills and the Don Valley Parkway.

As my colleague James says, "Two hours of bibliotechnical dumpster diving. It's a mob scene, but it's sure worth it!"

I post this every year, but. . .
The 27th Boston International Antiquarian Book Fair will be next weekend, October 31st- Nov.2, at the Hynes Convention Center. It's $15 Friday night (5-9 pm), $8 Saturday (noon-7 pm) and Sunday (noon-5 pm).
It's where I'll be living next weekend, so come visit and see some cool books.

Sadly, I never had the chance to visit Avenue Victor Hugo Bookshop in Boston. And now they're closing - in early May.

http://www.avenuevictorhugobooks.com

The store will begin a general 50% off sale starting Thursday, April 1, and will continue until all the stock is sold. The store's shelving
will be sold in May.
